Embers Adrift Adds A New High-Level Zone And A Vicious New Monster Type

The ever-expanding world of Embers Adrift has grown just a little bit bigger with the addition of a new high-level zone called Grizzled Peaks. The roads leading to the mountainous region are now open for those willing to brave its stunning but treacherous peaks and valleys.

Grizzled Peaks is a level 45-50 zone that features new high-level challenges and powerful new gear to acquire. Among these challenges are vicious new creatures called Gaunts that inhabit the Vehueramen ruins and its surrounding areas. That’s just Phase 1 of the update though. The new zone will become even more dangerous when Phase 2 comes out.

Meanwhile, developer Stormhaven Studios has tweaked the MMORPG’s launcher to address patch downloading issues. Going forward, updates will include a larger number of files but with significantly smaller file sizes. The team is also planning to upgrade the game to the latest version of Unity to take advantage of the recent improvements made to the game engine.
