Elite Dangerous To Release Update 14 Fixes Later This Month, Teases Next Major Updates

Now that the Elite Dangerous dev team is back from their holiday break, they’re making good on their promise to fix at least some of the more glaring issues with Update 14. The fixes are expected to go live at the end of the month and will focus on addressing the “core problems” that have been plaguing the sci-fi MMO since the update’s launch in November.
Frontier Developments also confirmed the release of Update 15 and Update 16 this year in its 2023 development roadmap, with the former set to go live in April and the latter later in the year. The studio has yet to get into the details of the upcoming updates but promises to share more information soon.
In the meantime, players can look forward to the first Frameshift Live developer stream of the year on January 19th and a collection of new Twitch drops. The team has also rolled out a fix for disconnection issues when docking with Fleet Carriers. You can check out the hotfix notes here.
