Elite Dangerous Teases Another Thargoid War Balance Pass, Console Copy Portal Reopening Soon

Elite Dangerous will be getting another balance pass for its ongoing Thargoid War to incorporate player data and feedback. The update will roll out later today after the sci-fi MMORPG’s weekly maintenance and progress reset. Frontier Developments has yet to share details about the upcoming adjustments but promises to do so in the lead up to the update’s release.

In the meantime, the Flight Operations Megaship “The Indra” will be joining the fight against the Thargoid invaders and will be relocating to a system just at the edge of the frontlines. The megaship has temporarily stopped offering new missions in preparation for the jump but will have its mission boards refilled as soon as it arrives in its new location.

In other Elite Dangerous news, Frontier Developments has announced that it will soon be reopening the console copy portal to give players that have been stuck on the console version a chance to port over their characters to the PC version. The portal was taken offline back in November and was supposed to come back online in January but has remained closed up until now. The team has also confirmed that Update 15 is still on track for release in late April.
