Elder Scrolls Online Releases Promotional Video: Freedom Of Choice in Tamriel Unlimited
Elder Scrolls Online, originally released in early 2014 and re-released as Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited this year has launched a promotional video with an emphasis on "Freedom of Choice". The promotional video, while hyping their June 9th release of the Playstation 4 and XBox One versions, does offer us some insight into what the game is about on PC.
Much like the one player games of its namesake, players will be able to have vast choices in ESO:TU as the video showcases a total of 10 player races split into 3 different factions for character creation. Players will be able to join the Aldemeri Dominion, the Ebonheart Pack or the Daggerfall Covenant and will be able to specialize their character into 4 different "pseudo classes": Dragonknight, Sorcerer, Nightblade or Templar. The video also describes that anyone regardless of class can wield any weapon or any armor in the game... which asks the question of how armor categories such as light armor and heavy armor will be balanced.
The promo also highlights "play how you want" offering different leveling options of adventuring and quests either solo or in a group and exploring the vast open world in any direction you want.
The game is currently free to play with Tamriel Unlimited, and you can check it out here.
