Elder Scrolls Online Multiplayer Content Trailer
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has released a new trailer highlighting multiplayer content for the no-subscription-needed MMORPG. The trailer shows a lot of impressive content, including full scale stronghold battles in which players build siege weapons such as trebuchets in order to destroy enemy fortresses.
Players will also be able to join up to 5 guilds, taking an approach similar to Final Fantasy XI's linkshell system, allowing people to associate with more than one group of friends. This is all in addition to built in optional voicechat, where players can literally speak their minds to other players... for better and for worse. Party members will also be able to group together no matter the level, with a level sync system available that scales encounters.
All of the other standard MMO fare also applies such as: 4 man dungeons, massive raids and challenges. However one interesting feature I've noted is the existence of open world dungeons, in which players will be able to meet other parties within the depths. Quite a throwback that could lead to some interesting social situations like there were in the old MMO days of games like Ragnarok Online.
