Elder Scrolls Online Is Bumping Up Cyrodiil’s Population Cap, Testing Starts Tomorrow

Elder Scrolls Online will soon be inviting more players to participate in the never-ending war for control of Cyrodiil as it prepares to bump up the population cap for the PvP battlefield. To make sure that the servers will be able to handle the increased load, ZeniMax Online Studios will be running a series of live testing sessions over the next few days.
Testing for the population cap increase kicks off on December 6th on the EU servers. Barring any major issues, PC and console players will get their chance to try out the bigger, and hopefully, better PvP mode later in the week and through to December 12th.
“During this time, we will increase population caps and monitor throughout the day through prime-time hours,” ZeniMax explains.
To encourage players to participate in the Cyrodiil tests, ZeniMax will be doubling the AP rewards while the tests are active. If all goes well, we can probably expect the population increase to become permanent sooner rather than later.
Beginning December 6, we will be conducting population testing in Cyrodiil. Login to fight for your favorite Alliance to receive double AP! More info: https://t.co/ISalGz6AIp pic.twitter.com/Y0ghCw5oQZ
