Elden Ring players who want to take on their friends in PvP combat can now do so as the popular fantasy action RPG drops its new Colloseum DLC. The DLC is free-to-download and introduces various PvP modes that players can access by visiting one of the three ancient arenas located in the game world.

“The Colosseum doors open for the first time to reveal a new challenge, unlocking three new arenas. Located in Limgrave, Caelid and Leyndell, each arena comes with its own sets of rules and will be theatres of fierce Player versus Player confrontations,” said developer FromSoftware. “In these arenas, players can engage in a variety of combat trials: one-on-one duels, free-for-alls & team battles up to six players, and special fights with spirit summoning enabled.”

The Colloseum DLC also introduces a handful of PvP balance adjustments including reduced counterattack damage for thrusting weapons, reduced guard efficiency for some weapons when attacking with your shield up, a reduction in the power of the Carian Slicer spell, and reduced poise damage for the Bestial Sling incantation along with several swords, axes, and spears.

There’s also a long list of general balance tweaks and bug fixes, the details of which can be found in the Version 1.08 patch notes on the Elden Ring official site.
