Edengrad Works To Make NPCs Feel More Natural

edengrad-npc-news-bannerGame worlds wouldn’t be complete without NPCs, even post-apocalyptic ones like upcoming survival game, Edengrad. Most games typically have NPCs that remain oblivious to your presence, even when you’re bunny-hopping all over the place like a crazed maniac. Edengrad developers are currently working on a new NPC system to make their NPCs look and feel more alive.

With the new system in place, NPCs will now turn to face an approaching player instead of waiting for the player to interact with them first. NPCs will also stop what they’re doing to react to a player and resume their actions when the player moves away. Future updates will also include a day/night cycle that affects NPC routines.

Take a quick look at the game in the trailer video below or head on over to the official Edengrad site for the full article.
