Echo Of Soul Is Shutting Down In July As Aeria Games’ Publishing License Expires
Echo of Soul: The Blue, the latest western version of the Korean MMORPG, will be shutting down next month as Aeria Games’ publishing agreement comes to an end. The servers will go dark on July 15th although Aeria says that there may be a possibility that another publisher might pick up the game in the future.
The in-game cash shop and web shop have both been disabled in preparation for the game’s closure. Remaining Aeria Points, however, can still be used in any of Aeria’s other games. Players are also asked to make sure that the email address associated with their account is up to date as all future communication, including information about the closure and possible transfers will be coursed through the registered email and through the Echo of Soul official site.
