Dungeons And Dragons Online Begins Testing New Community Event And Gear ‘Curses’

Standing Stone Games is preparing to roll out a fresh batch of new content for Dungeons and Dragons Online as Update 63 arrives on the test server. The highlight of the update is a special time-limited community event that will challenge everyone to work together to unlock its associated quests and rewards.

The latest test server release notes don’t offer any information about the said event but the team promises to reveal more details in the lead up to Update 63’s release at the end of the month.

Update 63 will also introduce four new quests, 12 new named items that can be obtained from the said quests, and a new gameplay mechanic called The Deck of Many Curses. It’s basically a card collecting system that will allow players to collect cards to create decks that can be used to apply various curses to their equipment, which are basically added weapon effects and passive buffs.
