Dungeons And Dragons Online Tweaks This Year’s Night Revels Halloween Event
Dungeons and Dragons Online kicks off its Halloween festivities with the return of the Night Revels event. This year’s version comes with a slight change that should make the event more challenging and more flexible, especially for veteran players.
“This year, players will no longer need to gather Night Revels Keys by running in the Delera's Graveyard landscape, although they can continue to do so if they wish,” said Standing Stone Games. “A new Champion type that only appears when Night Revels is active called the Shadow of Mabar can be found in quests when running on Hard difficulty and above. Defeating these Champions provides a chance for a chest to appear which contain Pieces of Darkest Chocolate and sometimes a Night Revels Key. Additionally, there is a small chance to find Darkest Chocolate or Night Revels Keys in any chest inside of a quest while the event is active.”
Once players have acquired a key, they can then run Night Revel quests in The Crypt to earn ingredients that can be traded in to Joe Candymaker for various rewards. Night Revel Keys can also be purchased from the cash shop for a quick way into The Crypt, as well as Elixirs of Spooky Luck which increase the drop rate of Night Revel ingredients by 10%.
This year’s Night Revels also features a host of new rewards, including new cosmetic items, new colors for the Reaper’s Plate Mail and Cloak and Helm, and a +2 Festive Bonus to Constitution Augment.
