Dungeons And Dragons Online Is Opening A New Permadeath Server Later This Month
Dungeons and Dragons Online is getting ready to boot up another permadeath server as the Hardcore League returns for its sixth season. The server will allow players to create characters with only one life. Die and your character will be tossed to wherever it is that permadeath characters following their demise.
Players who decide to join the permadeath server will earn various rewards depending on how well they did or how far they got in the hardcore server. Upon reaching a goal, players will be able to claim their reward by talking to the Hardcore League NPC. These rewards will be available for all characters on the account on any of the existing servers and can’t be obtained anywhere else in the game.
“During the Hardcore League, goals are set for players, and progress is based on two factors, each with their own ladder,” explained developer Standing Stone Games. “One tests the player’s ability to conquer as many quests as possible, and the other tests the player’s ability to survive in the hardest mode ever brought to the game.”
