Dungeons And Dragons Fables Of The Feywild Expansion Has Been Delayed By A Day
Since the pandemic started and the remote working conditions that came along with it, gamers have been much more patient with delays when it comes to game releases and updates. Standing Stone Games is asking for a little more of that patience as they announce a slight delay in the Fables of the Feywild expansion’s release.
“Our release date for Fables of the Feywild has been adjusted slightly, and is now set for release on Thursday, November 5th,” wrote Standing Stone on the DDO official forums. “We'll have more information about our downtime, release notes, and more on Wednesday.”
The Fables of the Feywild features 13 additional missions, a new Universal Enhancement Tree, a new standalone dungeon, new named loot, the new Shifter race, and a new Iconic Race – the Razorclaw Shifter. “Shifters are a basic Eberron race with notable Lycanthropic ancestry,” teases the devs. “They cannot transform entirely into animals, but can shift parts of their bodies to be animal-like for short periods of time. In DDO, this Shifting has similarities (and statistical connections to) Raging. Depending on your subrace selection, they could excel at Defense/Tanking or WIS-based casting.”
To compensate for the delay in the expansion’s release, the Night Revels Festival has been extended for one more day. If you have time to kill, you can watch Cordovan's latest Weekly Wednesday Lunchtime Livestream below where he talks about the upcoming expansion.
