Drawn To Death Launches On PS4 Today, Free For PlayStation Plus Subscribers

Drawn to Death is a game that I surprisingly haven't seen much buzz about. The game gained traction early on for being designed by David Jaffe, of Twisted Metal fame, but the hype seems to have died down a bit since it was originally announced at PlayStation Experience 2014.

The game itself is a PlayStation 4-exclusive competitive third-person shooter for up to four players at a time. Players choose from six characters and 26 weapons and take to the battlefield to kill their opponents. What really sets the game apart, though, is its aesthetic, which is intended to look like it takes place in the notebook of an angsty teenager.

Drawn to Death was originally set to be free-to-play, but developer The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency announced last November that it would be buy-to-play instead. While I can't find any official sources that state the price of the game, Polygon reported in February that it would be $19.99. PlayStation Plus subscribers, however, will get the game for free as long as they claim their free copies this month.

As of this writing, the game has yet to officially go live and, thus, I cannot link to the PlayStation Store page. We will be sure to update the article as soon as the game is made available.
