Exis Interactive Announces Dragon-Riding Extraction Game ‘Dragonhold’
Video game development outsourcing studio Exis Interactive has announced its first independently-developed title in the form of a new fantasy-themed multiplayer extraction game called Dragonhold. The game is described as a dragon riding and melee extraction title that promises a high-flying open-world adventure and two multiplayer game modes.
“Soar across a vast, awe-inspiring and living world, join forces with friends, fight for aerial supremacy, embark on perilous quests, defeat massive creatures, and more in this upcoming multiplayer dragon and melee extraction game. A living and enthralling world awaits players in Dragonhold.”
The game will offer two multiplayer game modes at launch: Extraction and Supremacy. In Extraction, players will need to work together to defeat powerful world bosses in online co-op battles. As they hunt down these bosses, they’ll also be able to explore a vast open world, embark on perilous quests, and discover hidden treasures and legendary loot. Supremacy, on the other hand, will pit players against other dragon riders in competitive PvP matches.
Players will also have access to an arsenal of weapons, magical artifacts, and armor and will be able to obtain more powerful pieces as they progress through the game.
Dragonhold is Exis Interactive’s first in-house developed game and its first extraction shooter at that. The studio, however, has worked on multiple AAA shooter, RPG, and RTS titles in the past, including F.E.A.R. 3, Bioshock Infinite, XCOM 2, multiple Civilization games, and World of Tanks, among others.
The studio has yet to announce a launch date for the dragon riding extraction shooter but the Dragonhold Steam page is now live for those who want to add it to their wishlists.
