Dominance Is A One Of A Kind Bullet Hell Battle Royale That Just Launched On Steam

Cyprus-based studio Stage23 offers a fresh take on the battle royale genre by combining its rules and mechanics with the fast-paced action of bullet hell games into a one of a kind top-down shooter called Dominance. The game prides itself as being the world’s first bullet hell battle royale game and is now out on Steam Early Access.

“What differentiates this game is the unusual combination of Bullet-Hell and Battle Royale genres, as well as the plot and setting, taking place in an alternative version of the 80's Western civilization where humanity is experimenting with alien technologies,” touts developer Inpleron.

You’ll be able to play as one of five distinct characters – Finn, Valkyrie, Veteran, Stalker, and Hunter – each with its own unique abilities. You’ll then battle it out in nine teams of three across and ever-changing battlefield to be crowned the last team standing.

As you rack up matches, you’ll be able to further customize your character and tweak its build with a virtually limitless combination of abilities, weapons, artifacts, and armor. You’ll also be able to unlock outfits, emotes, and other cosmetic items through seasonal battle passes and trade them through the Steam Marketplace.

The game is free-to-play and is expected to transition from early access to full release in about a year. You can catch a glimpse of each of the playable characters in action in the official launch trailer below.
