Diablo Immortal Opens Character Transfers Ahead Of Next Month’s Server Merges
As the Diablo Immortal population continues to wane, players have been finding it increasingly harder to find groups to take on endgame content. The good news is that Blizzard is on the case and will be merging low-population servers in two weeks’ time.
Instead of simply merging multiple servers into one, Blizzard will be grouping servers together into a group of four with cross-play enabled between them. This will allow players to login to their original servers to get to the new one. You can check out the official list of server groupings here. In preparation for the merges, server transfers are now open with everyone getting one free character transfer. Subsequent character transfers will cost $15 a pop.
Meanwhile, Blizzard has rolled out an update for Diablo Immortal that adds 36 new Legendary items that tie in with the Gloomguide’s Prize set and offers new set bonuses from new affixes. The update also boosts XP rewards for dungeons as part of the team’s latest round of balance tweaks.
The latest game update also paves the way for Battle Pass Season 6: Below the Sands which will run from tomorrow, October 27th to November 24th.
