Diablo Immortal Has Been Installed Over 10 Million Times Reports Blizzard

Over 10 million players have installed Diablo Immortal according to an infographic that Blizzard Entertainment posted on Twitter. That’s significantly less than the 30 million players that pre-registered for the mobile and PC spinoff but still quite impressive.

It’s worth noting though that the number doesn’t include players from the Asia Pacific region which will be getting the game sometime today or tomorrow. China and Hong Kong have also yet to jump in as its release in the countries has been delayed due to required content optimizations and adjustments.

Other game-related stats include 14 million created characters most of which are Necromancers which is currently the most-played class in the game. Players have also run the controversial Elder Rift pay-to-win endgame dungeon over 42 million times which is likely one of the biggest contributors to Blizzard’s $24 million two-week revenue from Diablo Immortal.

What we’re interested know, however, is how many players are currently playing on the game and how much they’re spending on average but Blizzard would probably be hesitant to reveal those numbers as it’s already in hot water for the game’s money-grabbing monetization scheme.
