Blizzard Continues With Its Weird Marketing Promotions For Diablo 4

Diablo 4’s marketing team continues to come up with weird promotions for the game. After collaborating with KFC and Thumbtacks for chicken and household chores-related promotions, Blizzard is now teaming up with real-world cathedrals and a “demon meat shake” maker.
Players can now embark on a 360-degree virtual tour of the Chapelle des Jésuites in Cambrai, France which has been transformed into a Diablo-themed wonderland called the Cathedral of Diablo Experience. The cathedral now features Diablo-inspired digital paintings alongside religious artworks for Diablo fans to experience.
If cathedrals aren’t your thing, maybe a plant-based, vegan, “demon meat shake” might be your cup of tea. The weird concoction was served to celebrities and influencers during a private event as well as Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York residents who won a Twitter promotion and had it delivered to them for free.
Amidst the unusual marketing tactics, Blizzard introduced essential accessibility features for Diablo 4. Colorblind filters, audio cues, subtitling, speech-to-text, and screen reader functionality aim to make the game more inclusive. Items and characters are now highlighted, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for all players in preparation for the game’s launch on June 6th.
