This Tuesday saw Diablo 4 kick off its vampire-themed second season, titled Season of Blood, and the game’s launch on Steam. The online ARPG’s launch on Valve’s platform also meant that its now available to play on Steam Deck for those who want to keep up with their vampire-hunting adventures even while on the go.

The Steam version also supports cross-play and cross-progression between the PC and console versions, although cross-play between PC and consoles has been temporarily disabled as Blizzard works to fix technical issues that arose from the game’s release on Steam.

It’s also important to note that you’ll need to purchase the game on Steam if you want to play on the platform, even if you’ve already bought it through Battle.net. The good news is that all Steam editions are currently on sale at 25% off until October 25th.

“Two different store fronts run by two different companies,” community manager Adam Fletcher explained. As on all other platforms, the Steam release will also require you to have a Battle.net account to play.
