Diablo 4: Season of the Construct’s mid-season update drops in just a few days, featuring the return of Vampiric Powers from Season of Blood, new endgame content in the form of The Gauntlet, and the new Leaderboards.

First on deck are last season’s Vampiric powers, which will be returning to the online ARPG in a new and improved form as Legendary Aspects. They’ll drop from all enemies in Sanctuary, allowing you to use blood-fueled abilities outside of Season of Blood. Some Legendary Aspects will be rarer than other so be prepared for some good old-fashioned grinding.

The highlight of the update, however, is a new fixed layout, non-linear endgame dungeon called The Gauntlet. The dungeon mechanics and layout will remain the same for the entire week before it’s swapped out for a different layout and a whole new set of challenges.

You’ll be able to take on the dungeon as many times as you like to optimize your run and work out the best strategy to earn as much Proofs of Might as you can and set the highest score possible before the next dungeon refresh. The Gauntlet will become available upon reaching World Tier IV, the mobs and bosses within it, however, will all be above level 100 so you’ll probably need to do a fair bit of legwork once you’ve reached the new tier.

You’ll also be able to compete with other players for a spot on the new leaderboards which will rank every player based on their performance in The Gauntlet, class, party size, and dungeon difficulty.

The Season of the Construct mid-season update arrives on March 5th. In the meantime, you can learn more about what it has to offer on the Diablo 4 official site and the new Campfire Chat dev stream below.
