Diablo 4 Is Making It Easier To Upgrade Glyphs When Patch 1.2.3 Goes Live Next Week

Diablo 4’s Patch 1.2.3 rolls out next week with the online ARPG’s most difficult encounter yet in the form of the Abattoir of Zir multi-level dungeon. To give players a fighting chance to complete all 25 levels of the “pinnacle” endgame dungeon, Blizzard also plans to boost Glyph XP gains as part of the update.

As veteran players already know, upgrading Glyphs is a tedious process that requires seemingly endless grinding of Nightmare Dungeons to earn Glyph XP. With Patch 1.2.3’s release, it’s going to get a whole lot easier with increased Glyph XP rewards from Nightmare Dungeons starting at Tier 18. Glyph XP gains will further increase by a significant amount at Tiers 75 to 100.

More powerful Glyphs means you’ll have a better chance of surviving the Abattoir of Zir. The first level alone will apparently be comparable to a Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon, so it’s probably best to have all your chosen Glyphs maxed out before taking it on since you’ll only get one life and 10 minutes to carve a path through the hordes of bloodthirsty vampires and defeat the boss.

Patch 1.2.3 and the Abattoir of Zir are scheduled to go live on December 5th. In the meantime, you can go over all of the new content and changes in the official patch notes.
