Diablo 4 Celebrates The Lunar New Year With Its Brand-New Lunar Awakening Event

Diablo 4 is celebrating its first Lunar New Year next week with its new Lunar Awakening event, promising its own dedicated event hub and Lunar Renewal-themed rewards. The event will run from 10 a.m. PST on February 6 to 10 a.m. PST on February 20 on both the Seasonal and Eternal servers, and will take place in the town of Ked Bardu in the Dry Steppes.
“Once there you’ll meet Ying-Yue, the leader of the Lunar Night Market. This market is your central hub for Lunar Awakening, where you’ll redeem your Ancestor’s Favor reputation for extravagant Lunar Renewal themed rewards,” Blizzard explains. “Lunar Shrines are spread throughout Sanctuary. Fight your way through both dungeons and the overworld, activating Lunar Shrines and slaying monsters to earn copious amounts of Ancestors Favor reputation.”
Lunar Shrines will also grant you a 50% boost to XP gains and 30% increased movement speed to help you quickly get around during the event. They’ll also grant random bonus effect that will allow you to make quick work of enemies in the area, including the Miserly Spirits that spawn when you activate them.
Event details can be found on the Diablo 4 official site. You can also check out the Lunar Awakening trailer below.
