Diablo 4 Dives Deeper Into Season Of The Construct In New Highlight Video And Dev Stream
Blizzard Entertainment has condensed the highlight features of Diablo 4: Season of the Construct into video form hot on the heels of its announcement this week.
The 7-minute Inside the Game video delves into the lore driving the upcoming season, the Seneschal robot-like companion and its abilities, and its new trap-filled underground dungeons called Vaults. It also comes with animated artwork and actual in-game footage, which should give viewers visual context and a bit more information on everything that’s coming in the new season.
“Ancient forces threaten Sanctuary. Aided by your Seneschal Companion, hazard the many traps and devastating Constructs beneath the deserts of Kehjistan.
Deep beneath the swirling sands, elemental forces are amassing for malicious whims of the demon Malphas. Only by descending far below the surface will you be able to cull this cursed threat from its root.”
The team also hosted a developer livestream earlier today where they dove further into Season of the Construct and all of its moving parts. You’ll find the full dev stream and the highlight video tucked snugly down below. The season itself is set to go live on January 23.
