Diablo 4 General Manager Confirms Quarterly Seasons And Annual Expansions

With Diablo 4: Season of the Malignant well underway and Season of the Blood on the horizon, General Manager Rod Fergusson took time to tease their general plans for the online ARPG over the next few years.

In an interview with Dexerto, Fergusson confirmed plans for quarterly seasons and annual expansion releases for the game well into the future. He also assured the community that they’re ready to support Diablo 4 for “a long time” and that they won’t be abandoning the game like they did with Diablo 3 a few years after it launched.

“That’s something we are rectifying in D4 with our seasons and our expansions,” he said.

On the subject of seasons, Season of the Blood is set to launch on October 17th and will feature a new vampire-themed questline, enemies, and vampiric powers.
