DC Dual Force Is Shutting Down In February 2024 Just Four Months After It Launched

Online collectible card game DC Dual Force is shutting down just four months after it launched. Developer CCG Lab didn’t give a reason for the game’s closure but it’s presumably due to its extremely poor performance. SteamDB reports an all-time peak of just 919 players a week after its launch followed by a significant dip to just 48 players today.
“We have made the difficult decision to close DC Dual Force,” the studio announced. “Players will no longer be able to make any in-app purchases as of today and the game server will officially be shut off on February 29, 2024. Until that date, players can continue to play, create an account, and use all their in-game items and cards.”
Players will still be able to login and enjoy Gold subscription perks until the said date. All purchases made since the game’s launch will be refunded in full through whatever platform was used. More information can be found on the DC Dual Force official site.
