Daybreak Announces Plans To Shut Down Legends Of Norrath And PlanetSide

Daybreak announced today that it will be shutting down Legend of Norrath and the original PlanetSide after 9 and 13 years online, respectively. PlanetSide will be shut down on July 1st, whereas Legends of Norrath will be shut down on August 17th. It was only a matter of time for PlanetSide, as it has been running as a completely free game for two years now. As the last of Sony Online Entertainment's card games to remain online, it is also not surprising that Legends of Norrath's days were numbered.

Neither game seems to have any sort of veteran rewards program to entice players to play other Daybreak games at this time.
