Dawnlands Officially Launches On Steam To ‘Mostly Negative’ Reviews
Dawnlands has officially launched on Steam just a few weeks after Singapore-based developer Amazing Seasun Games first announced the cross-platform survival game. The game promises a massive open-world with epic lore, multiple biomes, survival mechanics, puzzles, crafting, settlement building, and small-scale multiplayer.
Unfortunately, players wasted no time in ripping the game to shreds on Steam, garnering “Mostly Negative” reviews on the platform. Complaints mostly revolve around the game’s buggy and unfinished state. Reviewers also called attention to the game’s mobile-first controls and interface, microtransactions, optional subscriptions, and battle pass.
The Steam page itself looks like it hasn’t been updated since February and the official website offers very limited information about the game or its monetization system.
