Following Darkfall: New Dawn's free trial period in July, Big Picture Games is letting everyone play Darkfall: Rise of Agon completely free of charge from now until October 24th. Those of you that are more interested in seeing Darkfall Online go back to its roots than evolve into something new and different have nine days to see exactly what Big Picture Games is doing to preserve the game's legacy.

An Autumn Sale has begun alongside the beginning of the free trial period, giving everyone a chance to purchase the lowest tier of Founder's Pack, Supporter Packs, for a mere $14.95, 25% off the standard price. The game's other Founder's Pack tiers are also on sale; Hero Packs are 30% off or $34.95 while Legend Packs are 40% off or $59.95.
