Darkfall: New Dawn To Hold First Stress Test On June 28th

Darkfall Unholy Wars may have been shut down indefinitely at the end of last month, but Darkfall: New Dawn will be coming online for the first time later this month. Ub3rgames announced earlier this week that Darkfall: New Dawn will be entering its first round of testing on June 28th. It's a ways behind its closest competitor, Darkfall: Rise of Agon, but it's getting there.

Also included in the announcement are a performance update and some details about meditation balance. The performance update has improved the lowest FPS rates by "at least" 30% on HDDs and 15% on SSDs. Overall, framerates have improved by "at least" 5%.

With meditation, the team is seeking to keep to the following rule: "[...] the goal will always be to keep active gameplay faster than offline skilling, but it still has to allow PvP players to grow their characters in a reasonable time frame."
