Crowfall's First Campaign is Set, Ready for Players to Crow.

Crowfall is shaping up to look like an interesting game. The Buy-to-Play game is promising long, large-scale PvP battles, and players won't have to wait long to get their first real taste of them - Crowfall has announced their First Campaign Test.
There is a lot of information here, but lets try to break it down. Players will spawn in a temple, as a crow soul, belonging to one of three factions - Chaos, Order, and Balance . After creating a character, they will have to explore the area and acquire materials - while dealing with a Fog of War.

Exploring, acquiring resources, building forts, holding forts - these are primary objectives for players to fulfill. The three factions are pretty straightforward in their win conditions - Chaos and Order require players to control a certain number of objectives, while Balance requires its faction to ensure that neither side wins.

J. Todd Coleman, Creative Director for Crowfall, stated that they wanted to experiment and take risks with Crowfall, and that the genre has grown stale. With this, Crowfall can't wait to see crazy things happens - such as "Balance suddenly flipping teams in the middle of a siege." Once again, you can read up on the preview of this game mode here.
