Crowfall Reduces Buy-To-Play Price, Details Optional VIP Membership Benefits

Here’s a bit of good news for Crowfall fans waiting for the game’s launch this July. ArtCraft has reduced the game’s buy-to-play price from $49.99 to $39.99 and announced a VIP membership option for players who want to avail of the added benefits offered by the subscription. Contrary to popular belief, offering an optional monthly subscription has always been the studio’s plan since the game was first announced back in 2015.
A VIP subscription will grant players several convenience options, including queue priority, unlimited character respecs, double campaign world bank and personal vault storage, decreased mount and tool decay, increased food buff duration, extended access to Eternal Kingdoms, and free Crowns.
Membership costs $14.99 per month with options for 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month subscription plans. The longer the plan, the cheaper the price. The amount of free Crowns a VIP subscriber receives also depends on their chosen plan.
“Feature options for the Crowfall VIP membership range from one month to 12-month plans. The 12-month membership plan includes a grant of 18,000 Crowns, offering the highest value, at a 22% discount off the standard monthly rate. All plans include monthly grants of bonus in-game currency (Crowns) as well as an exclusive monthly item reward.”
For July, VIP subscribers and backers who’ve already purchased VIP membership will receive an exclusive Gryphon mount. All game access packs will also come with one free month of VIP membership. Backers who bought game access packs on or before June 8 will also be getting an additional free month of membership at launch.
Crowfall officially launches on July 6 on PC. More information can be found on the official site.
