Crowfall Gives Its UI A Makeover With The Latest Update

When it comes to MMORPGs, or any type of game for that matter, a good user interface is just as important as gameplay and content. As Crowfall comes closer to their official release version, the developers have constantly been rolling out a steady stream of UI makeovers. The game's latest update continues that trend. UX Design Lead Billy Garretsen writes:
“. . . in today’s update we are going to take a look at some sweeping changes to the Crowfall® interface and menus as the team switches gears from prototyping into shipping mode. Since the interface affects so much of the game, it made a lot of sense to try and lock those down sooner rather than later. This is the beginning of many user interface (UI) improvements coming to Crowfall and we hope our players like where things are headed.”
The latest update features a new multi-category world browser, visual changes to the player HUD, and reworked formatting for tooltips. Additional improvements are planned to roll out in the near future, including a new character sheet, an overhaul of the skill tree, and in-game account management, along with further enhancements to tooltips and the HUD.
