Crowfall Enters Next Phase Of Testing

ArtCraft have opened their upcoming "Throne War Simulator" Crowfall to 4000 more backers as they enter the next phase of testing. This "critical phase of development" marks the introduction of the first RPG elements. Monsters, grouping mechanics, and a new Hunger Dome level headline this update. They say to expect an experience similar to The Walking Dead, meaning that the newly-renovated Hunger Dome's zombies and hellcats are likely not dangerous, but rather simply "[raise] the general threat level of the universe."

A new hero, the Champion, has been introduced alongside the other updates. The Champion is "a hulking skull-crusher who towers over his opponents and pulverizes everything in his path." He is the fourth "playable archetype," alongside the Knight, the Confessor, and the Centaur Legionnaire.
