Crowfall Details Crafting Stations

Design Lead Thomas Blair detailed the ins and outs of Crowfall's crafting stations in the latest official blog post on the Crowfall site. While the crafting stations aren't ready to be used in game, the post shows off some concept artwork and describes their purpose.

Players will place crafting stations in their houses:

They are objects placed in houses that enable specializations for specific types of crafting. For example, if you wanted to craft a sword, you would need to do that at a forge crafting station. This means there are multiple types of stations for the various crafting professions.

Crafting purposes do serve other purposes as well: you'll store goods, they'll enable crafters to alter stats of items, and players will employ NPCs that grant buffs and allow for the creation of blueprints. 'These stations also act as factories for 'mass production', in a manner similar to the bulk-production runs of “Star Wars: Galaxies”.'

East: October 7, 6:30pm – 8:00pm
West: October 7, 8:00pm – 9:30pm
