Conan Exiles Thrall Decay Timer Issue Prompts Rollback Of All Official Servers

Funcom was forced to roll back all 780 of Conan Exiles’ official servers after a recently added decay timer accidentally made thralls disappear much earlier than intended. All the official servers were reset to Friday, September 1st to bring back the lost companions at the cost of losing all progress made after the rollback point.
“While not ideal, given the time and hard-earned companions that players have lost, we feel that this is the best course of action to rectify the negative effects of this situation,” Funcom said. “To avoid a similar situation in the future, we are adjusting our internal processes. Most importantly, we are instituting more stringent release review processes to help catch errors before deploying updates to the live servers and moving even minor server configuration changes away from Fridays.”
The team promises to compensate players for the rollback and will be sharing more details soon.
