Cloud Pirates Shows Up On Steam Greenlight

My.com's latest effort, Cloud Pirates, may very well end up on Steam, as it showed up on Greenlight earlier today. While it is somewhat unexpected due to both Armored Warfare and Skyforge remaining My.com Games-exclusive, perhaps the fact that Allods Online is already on Steam influenced the decision, as Cloud Pirates is a part of the Allods franchise.

If you would like to see Cloud Pirates on Steam, make sure to vote it up. I had fun with my time in the Closed Beta; the game was polished and gameplay felt refined compared to many other titles I've played within the team-based vehicular combat genre. The art style is bright and pleasant, which is a nice change of pace. However, there will be an unshakable sense of familiarity if you've played games like World of Tanks, Dreadnought, or Fractured Space in the past.

The Greenlight lists a "Q4 2016" release date, so the game's release may not be far off. Perhaps the first Closed Beta, which ended on October 25th, will be one of a small number to take place before the beginning of Open Beta.
