Closers Officially Launching In the West Through En Masse This Year

Ever since Closers began its open beta testing in South Korea in December, 2014 players have been speculating on when / if it would make its way over to Western shores. Today En Masse Entertainment, best known for publishing Tera and Kritika Online, announced that they will be bringing Closers to North America and Europe in English. Closed alpha test is expected to begin in September with an open beta happening later in the fall. For those who haven't played the Korean version of Closers or the English private server, it's an action MMORPG with persistent lobbies and instanced dungeons (think Kritika / DFO).

Shortly after an English private server for Closers launched (Code Closers) we were contacted by Naddic Games (Closer's developer) and were told that they were working on getting the game licensed and localized for Western release. Enthusiasm for an official Closers launch may be a bit muted though because the English private server has been operating for a bit over 6 months already.
