Check Out New World’s 20v20 PvPvE Battleground – Outpost Rush

Amazon Game Studios continues its lineup of New World video previews with a brief look at Outpost Rush, a 20v20 PvPvE battleground that players can queue up for alone or as part of a small group. Here’s how it works:

“Teams must coordinate and balance their time upgrading outposts, gathering resources, capturing objectives, and defeating enemies,” explained Amazon on Twitter. “Outposts can be upgraded, defended, and used as forward operating bases to drive the enemy back.”

Players will also be able to set respawn points, place boiling pots of oil to repel invaders, and summon PvE bosses that they can take on to gain buffs for their side. The encounter offers multiple victory conditions that will ensure that both sides have equal chances of winning.
