Celebration of Lliira Returns To Neverwinter Ahead Of Fourth Of July Weekend

Neverwinter is lighting up the sky with fireworks with the return of the Celebration of Lliira, the D&D-inpsired MMORPG’s version of Fourth of July. The event kicks off on Thursday, July 1 at 7:30am PT and will run until Thursday, July 8 at 7:30am PT.

“It’s that time of the year again when adventurers gather in Protector’s Enclave to set off fireworks in honor of the Goddess of Joy. We’re happy to announce that the Celebration of Lliira will be returning to Neverwinter! Get ready to light up the night sky with our variety of fireworks, which are sure to make a bang.”

“Starting on July 1, players will honor Lliira, the goddess of joy, freedom and liberty by completing daily quests and setting off fireworks. Players will be rewarded with Tokens of Lliira’s Favor which can be exchanged for many items in the event store,” announced Perfect World Entertainment.

This year’s event will run much the same way as previous events except that players will now be able to turn in fireworks crates at any time except during the fireworks show that will take place every 30 minutes. Players will be rewarded with Lliira’s Favor everytime they turn in fireworks. These can then be exchanged for various event rewards, including a new toast emote, the Cosmic Captain’s fashion set, the Ceremonial Mask of Lliira, dye pack, even more fireworks, and a star-spangled Cosmic Pig Mount.

Bad news for those who have yet to acquire the Starry Panther, the mount has been removed from this year’s festivities but will be obtainable by other means in the future.
