Call of Duty: Warzone Will Be Getting A New Map With The Explosive Destruction Of Verdansk
Call of Duty: Warzone operatives will finally get to jump into a new map in April alongside the start of Season 3 in Black Ops Cold War. It seems, however, that Verdansk will need to be blown to kingdom come before players can get their boots on the ground in the new map.
According to Video Games Chronicle, the new map will be heralded by an explosive event that will mark the transition of the game’s narrative from Warzone to Black Ops Cold War, the most recent game in the Call of Duty franchise. The new map will reportedly feature a 1980s theme and will include various locations from the Black Ops series.
The transition to the new map was initially planned to coincide with Black Ops Cold War’s launch last November but was pushed back due to several undisclosed factors.
Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season 3 starts on April 22 with the conclusion of the current Battle Pass. Meanwhile, the Cold War Outbreak mode is currently free until March 4 if you want to check it out.
