RuneScape-Inspired Cozy MMORPG Brighter Shores On Track For Release In Q3 2024

Unlike most MMOs that typically take a few years to launch after they’re announced, Brighter Shores is on track to launch less than six months after it was first unveiled by fledgling UK development studio Fen Research. Jagex founder and lead developer Andrew Gower recently confirmed that the RuneScape-inspired cozy crafting MMORPG is on track for release in the third quarter of this year.
“Hoping to finish implementing Episode 3 in the next couple of weeks,” Gower tweeted. “Then we only have Episode 4 to finish off before launch (and Episode 4 is already well into production).”
Meanwhile, the team continues to build hype for the upcoming game with a series of teaser videos and screenshots on Twitter, which offer glimpses of how the world map works, TCG-like information cards, and profession capes. We’ll let you know as soon as they lock in a definite launch date.
