Toadman Interactive Announces Block N Load 2, Closed Beta Starting Soon

Toadman Interactive has announced the sequel to their popular voxel-based tactical shooter Block N Load. Block N Load 2 will offer the same 5v5 base-building and first-person shooter action as the original game but with better graphics as well as new heroes, weapons, abilities, and blocks to use.

“It’s time to get block to business! The sequel to the acclaimed Block N Load brings even more chaos, creativity, destruction, and mayhem. Our heroes, some old and some new, find themselves transported forward 1000 years in time to exciting new worlds with new weapons, blocks, abilities, and designs. Join their ongoing battle as you collect resources, build up your defenses, and destroy your opponent's base with dozens of unique blocks. Choose the right hero to tip balance in your favor as you ASSEMBLE, SMASH, AND DOMINATE.”

The game will also feature reworked versions of traditional team-based game modes, including capture the flag, king of the hill, elimination, and base defense. Like the original game, players will be able to customize maps by building and laying traps on the fly. They’ll also be able to create their own unique maps using the game’s built-in map editor.

Toadman hasn’t announced a release date for Block N Load 2 as of yet but it’s looking to start closed beta testing soon. You can drop your name into the hat for a chance to participate in the playtest by requesting access on Steam. Don’t forget to check out the closed beta trailer below.
