Blizzard Plans To Nerf Threat Generated By Demoralizing Roar And Demoralizing Shout

World of Warcraft Classic seems to be having issues with the amount of threat that a number of skills are generating. Demoralizing Shout and Demoralizing Roar are apparently generating too much threat when used on multiple enemies, while an issue with Battle Shout as well as most healing spells, effects, and buffs, is causing them to incorrectly split generated threat.

According to a recent forum post, Blizzard Entertainment will soon be rolling out a hotfix to nerf Demoralizing Shout and Demoralizing Roar and fix the threat generated by Battle Shout and other skills. According to the devs, the coming fix should make the mentioned spells and effects’ functions match those of the 1.12 reference client. Blizzard has yet to announce an actual date for the hotfix.
