Blade and Soul's Legacy of the Hongmoon Clan Update Launches March 13

Blade and Soul's next major update, titled Legacy of the Hongmoon Clan, is set to launch on March 13, 2019. While the update includes a ton of new content, the most important is the increase in level cap to 60. To celebrate the occasion, NCSoft is giving away special legacy of the Hongmoon packs here. While free items with updates is always nice, these packs contain a free level 60 boost voucher, which as the name implies, instantly boosts a character to level 60. This is the first time I've seen an MMORPG increase its level cap and at the same time give players a free boost to that new cap. Interesting.

Not everything about the update has been revealed just yet, but given that its launching in about 3 weeks, we won't have to wait too long. The Legacy of the Hongmoon Clan update includes all new class specializations, the Temple of Succession storyline, a new island full of rare beasts, the debut of the Lyn Warden, and more!

Blade and Soul is one of the few true action MMORPGs out there alongside games like Tera and Black Desert Online. It's well worth checking out, especially now that NCSoft is giving away free level 60 boosts.
