Blade And Soul Previews Demonsbane System Ahead Of Its Launch Today

Blade and Soul’s next major update is launching today, featuring new story content as well as the new Demonsbane system and its accompanying dungeon, the Aerodrome. The new Mythical dungeon is open to level 60 players with HM level 25+ and will be accessible after completing the new story quests in Act XI Part 2.
“’Fine warrior! Enter in the Realmwide Martial Arts Tournament!’ A giant airship known as the Aerodrome has appeared over the Fishbelly Pub in Sapphire Basin, advertising a martial arts tournament aboard it. Many have made their way to the Aerodrome to take part, but something sinister lurks as none of the challengers have been seen since!”
The Aerodrome is the first dungeon to be part of the new Demonsbane system, which not only offers a new way to rank players but also allows players to increase the difficulty of associated dungeons by adding modifiers or introducing different boss mechanics. Players start at Stage 1 of the Aerodrome and must earn Demonsbane XP to unlock the next stage for a total of 80 challenging stages. The dungeon will feature two main bosses that offer players a chance to earn different loot depending on the stage they’re on.
Progress in Demonsbane dungeons will also be recorded by class for each individual player as part of the new Demonsbane Ranking. Rank rewards will be given out weekly and at the end of each season. Details on Season 1 coming soon. You can also check out the Demonsbane update notes on the Blade and Soul official site for more info.
