Black Desert Online's Valencia Part One Update Is Now Live, Patch Notes Published

No longer suffering any delays, Black Desert Online's Valencia Part One Update is finally live nearly a month after it was originally supposed to be released. With any luck, this update will not have major features turned off indefinitely like the Siege Update.

Alongside today's release, the full set of patch notes for the update was published. The update finally puts the desert in Black Desert. It also ups the max gear enchantment level to +20—or PEN for accessories. Gear of green—Magic—tier or lower can be force enchanted up to +18, but any failures in attempting to enchant to +17 or higher will result in a level drop and a loss of 10 max durability. Forced enchantments up to +18 will reduce max durability by 100.

Guild Houses can now be obtained by winning auctions held every two weeks. Successfully winning the auction will grant ownership of the Guild House until the next auction. Bidding starts at 100k Silver and each guild is allowed three progressively higher bids per auction. If no one has won by the end of the auction, the auction restarts with a starting bid that is half that of the previous auction.
