Black Desert Online Passwords Reset Over Account Security Concerns

If your Black Desert Online password was reset, your account may have been compromised. According to a recent forum post by CM_Aethon, the team has reset a number of users' passwords due to "a report that account security may have been compromised on a third party website." It is further recommended that anyone who has had their password reset also change the email that is attached to their Black Desert Online account.

Unfortunately, CM_Aethon did not provide any information about which third-party site they were referring to. This has lead to confusion among a number of users who had their password reset, but can't recall any Black Desert Online-related websites that they had registered for other than the forums.

We will be sure to keep you updated, should we learn more. For the time being, however, if your password has been reset, you should probably take an obligatory moment to ensure that your previous Black Desert Online username/password combo isn't in use on any other website that you use regularly.
