Black Desert Online Extends Free-Play Event On PlayStation Due To A PS Store Bug
Black Desert Online recently held a free-play week event that ran from December 22nd through December 27th. As with all free trials, the goal is to entice new players to purchase the game after getting to try it out for a couple of days. Unfortunately, a PlayStation Store bug is preventing players from purchasing the game at the end of the free trial.
“Currently, Adventurers who have participated in the Free Play event and played Black Desert for the first time can only purchase item packs, which do not include the base game. If you purchase an item pack, you will not be able to continue playing the game after the end of the Free Play event period.”
The good news is that players who installed the game from any PS Store region and have created a Family Name during the free play event will be able to continue playing the game for free until Pearl Abyss comes up with a fix.
