The Corsair Awakens With A Lively Crew Of Otters In Black Desert Online
The Corsair, Black Desert Online’s new pirate mermaid class, has just received her Awakening Skills today, giving her access to a colorful new dress, a bejeweled gunblade, and a harpoon, as well as an “ott-illery” crew of otters to help her make quicker work of her enemies.
“As the beloved captain of the Slippery Scallywags, she can give out orders for her crew to follow. Her loyal Scallywags are armed to the teeth with cannons, and ready to launch an artillery barrage the second Corsair gives the command. All this allowing Corsair to control the battlefield and surprise her enemies.”
Like previous Awakenings, the Corsair’s Awakening questline “Call of the Crow” can be started from the Black Spirit and will only be available upon reaching level 56 and completing the Corsair Succession questline “A Letter from the Crow.” Season characters will also have access to the “Patraca, the Heart of the Sea” quest that will allow them to exchange their Tuvala Serenaca for a Tuvala Patraca Awakening weapon.
“With Patraca—a weapon imbued with the dense mist of the Crow’s Nest—in her hands, Corsair can easily rush down enemies while surrounded by its mist. Distant enemies aren’t safe either, as she can pierce them with her harpoon from afar, dragging them into her mist and neutralizing them.”
